Jasmin Franko
Work inquiryAbout the artist
Jasmin Franko (b. 1992, DK), is a visual artist who lives and works in Copenhagen. Her work is a sculptural inquiry into animism, archeology, and speculative fiction, treating clay as a medium for distorting and preserving time. Through her practice, she leaves behind speculative artifacts that speak to biological phenomena, mutated folklore, and our contemporary science-fictional condition.
Franko was given the Anne Marie Carl-Nielsens talent price 2024, and has exhibited at Andersen’s Contemporary (DK), Clay ceramic museum Denmark (DK), RAM gallery (NO), Rønnebæksholm Kunsthal (DK), among others.
Her work has been widely covered by international media including IDOART, Art Matter, 2022 and Art Matter, 2023.
